Meet The Team
Zeina Hashim, Co-Founder
Co-Founder and currently CIV:LAB's manager, Zeina is there in every step of the way, monitoring everyday operations and making sure that there are always new innovative ideas in CIV:LAB's offered programs. Zeina has a major in Physics, MSc & PhD in Nanotechnology from Surrey & KCL, UK, and a 10-years experience as a faculty member in KAU.
Ayat Felimban, C0-Founder
Ayat is CIV:LAB's Co-Founder and currently CIV:LAB's consultant. With a BSc in Mathematics, MSc in Geophysics from KAUST, and a 5-years experience as a researcher in ARAMCO, She is hardworking behind the scenes monitoring and improving the quality of CIV:LAB's services.
Wafa Adam, Program Instructor
Wafa is one of the exemplary people in life who we can say they love what they do. She is the right-hand of the co-founders, worked with them from day 1, and is involved in the endless planning and designing hours. Wafa is a dedicated program instructor mentoring over 100+ young members, and currently looks after the community of hundreds of customers.
Turki Yahya, Woodworking Programs Instructor
Turki, is CIV:LAB's handyman, he fixes things, is responsible for the woodworking workshops electric tools, and is there as a second instructor in the structured programs and camps.
Batool Ammar, Digital Technician
Batool is the IT Manager at the Civilization Lab. She manages all digital manufacturing equipment, provides technical support to its users, and implements innovative and creative graphic designs.
Mahmoud Al-Wazeer, Sports Coach
Coach Mahmoud has a BSc in sports and an MSc in sports teaching. He has over 5 years of experience teaching sports to kids. His biggest strength is teaching swimming. He is there with us in every camp, making it more fun for its young participants.
Maricel Mundas, Security and safety
Maricel is a dedicated team member. She makes sure that the makerspace is a healthy environment for its makers. With a certificate in health-care and nursing, she is there for any emergencies.
