Membership Basic Packages

All ages are welcome as members. Members aged 14+ can work in CIV:LAB's makerspace with minimum guidance after either taking the woodworking course or the compulsory membership requirement sessions.  Members under 14 years old will always need a personal tutor to benefit most from their membership sessions.

Entries are limited to 1 hour/entry for members younger than 14 years old, an extra 30 min free-play/entry can be optionally added.

Membership Requirements

  • Compulsory Safety Session (half an hour) 75 SAR

  • Optional training on a digital fabrication tool (per hour) 200 SAR

Membership Add-ons

Members can use scrap wood for their experiments free of charge. Once adult members decide on their products, they can generate a price list for the materials needed with the help of CIV:LAB's accountant, settle the payment, and start making.    

Parents of young members are advised to select a budget for their child's product so CIV:LAB's team can ensure that the selected materials do not exceed that budget. Once the materials are finally selected, an invoice will be issued and must be paid before the end of the child's paid membership sessions.

For 5 - 8 years old

Camps

Camp prices differ depending on theme materials cost and outsourced providers fees

Short Camps

  • 1 day camp (1.5 hours)

Vacation Camps

  • 1 week (5 days, 2 hours/day, price per week) 1,000 SAR

Events and Parties

Customers can rent CIV:LAB's space for their parties, including or excluding a one-hour activity in woodworking, planting, mechanics, or little experimenter, etc. CIV:LAB's team can also provide this activity at locations other than its makerspace.

Events in CIV:LAB

  • Outdoor space rental + lobby + toilets (days: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays.  Time: 4 - 8 pm) 1,000 SAR
  • 1 hour CIV:LAB operated activity (for the first 5 children) 1,000 SAR
  • 1 hour CIV:LAB operated activity for every extra child (mini project) per child 45 SAR

  • Rental of a CIV:LAB designed giant game (per day)
